IN STUDIO
I've always been told that I have a unique way of documenting my work and my process to creativity. It's a slight obsession, really... Growing up, I loved SEEING how things were made. I needed to understand the Before in order for me to fully appreciate the end result. I think the same is necessary in fully appreciating my works of art.

I had the inkling to paint a painting that expresses my love and desire for spring to come. Soft, smooth colors that will have plenty of white snowy lines intwined with them... Perhaps. Sometimes they go where they want to go... BUT notice my new H-Frame that my fella bought me for xmas!

Close up on the Square Abstract!

experimenting with using white, lackadaisical interlacing to dance with my more ominous purple ones. I am using a hazy pastel palette, which is new for me.

I find that if I prop my canvas on my lap, I have better control over my lines. A sturdy hand is key in my style.

Often I will just set up my paintings on a table in front of me. I always listen to music when I am painting.

My studio doubles as my bedroom and Livingroom. In time I will be able to afford a studio!
